33 weeks

I'm afraid the chalkboard pictures are officially retired for baby 2 and now it is exclusively gym pictures!

How far along?: 33 weeks (I'm writing this as if it were last Thursday when I was supposed to write it!)
Maternity clothes: Of course and I went out and got a couple of new/longer workout tanks since I was still in a few prepreg tanks that were way too short.
Best moment this week: Finn and I went home last weekend (weekend before Easter weekend) and on Saturday I met up with my best friends for the first time in what felt like forever - it was so nice to have time with them to just talk and not be interrupted and just relax!
Symptoms: I have been having a ton of pressure and pains which I didn't get with Finn until 39 weeks so either this baby is going to make an early entrance or this is just how the second pregnancy is.
Miss anything?: Nothing really.
Movement: So much more than I did with Finn, this kid never stops moving!
Food cravings: Nothing in general this week.
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yes.
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Still just tired and wanting to not do anything once I get home from work, but oh yeah I'm a mom this time around and that's not possible!
Looking forward to: Easter weekend at our house with my parents! (remember I'm writing this as if Easter hasn't happened yet, even though it has!)

30 weeks

How far along?: 30 weeks
Maternity clothes: Yep, maternity pants and tanks still in full force. Some of my workout shirts are even starting to get a little short so I may have to get a couple in a larger size.
Best moment this week: The weather is finally nice so Finn and I were able to go for a walk while Tom was teaching.
Symptoms: I had sore shins a few times this week while running but no actually shin splints. Little man seems to like to stretch out all the time which is actually really painful and it happens all the time too but especially when I'm sitting so if I stand it's not too bad.
Miss anything?: Nothing really.
Movement: Tons!
Food cravings: Nothing in general this week.
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yes.
Gender prediction: Little man 2! Although I've had a bunch of dreams the past few weeks where we have a girl. Part of me isn't 100% convinced it's a boy, my intuition has told me since the beginning it's a girl and I guess our tech who did the anatomy scan makes me feel uncertain since she wasn't particularly nice and barely took a half hour whereas Finn's took over 45mins. If I make it until 40 weeks I get another ultrasound to see if my fluid levels are low since they were with Finn so we'll find out then or at birth to be 100% sure!
Mood: Pretty much just exhausted and a little more frustrated too.
Looking forward to: A weekend at home - I really want to clean the house and declutter like crazy so I guess nesting is already starting to kick in. And in two weeks we're headed home and I'm having a girls lunch with my best friends who I haven;t seen in far too long and I feel like a giddy kid waiting for the day to come!

28 weeks

Yep, another gym picture. Sorry if you have already seen this on Instagram :)

How far along?: 28 weeks
Maternity clothes: Yep, maternity pants and tanks in full force.
Best moment this week: Tom teaches an anatomy and physiology class two nights a week at a community college right now so Finn and I have a lot of mommy time, but most nights he now crawls up and lays with me and puts his head on my stomach and then knocks on it with his little fist like it's a door!
Symptoms: No shin splints still but the Braxton hicks have been coming back lately and my stomach is just sore in general.
Miss anything?: Nothing really.
Movement: Tons!
Food cravings: I've been wanting a red velvet cupcake in the worst way lately but there are no good cake shops near us and Hannaford's cupcakes just don't measure up.
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yes.
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Pretty much just exhausted.
Looking forward to: Heading to Burlington this weekend for a little staycation with my sister in-laws and our nephew! It will be awesome to see Finn with Jay since he's a lot more fun now and can actually play with Jay.

27 weeks

No time for a chalkboard picture this week with a teething toddler who just wants to be held.

How far along?: 27 weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes, still just pants with maternity tanks and regular shirts.
Best moment this week: I'm having a lot of fun at my new job so far which is a nice change. I'm starting to work on full branding pieces which is awesome and I'm so happy to get back into marketing.
Symptoms: I haven't had shin splints in a week or braxton hicks. I'm definitely starting to feel sore and big and exhausted haha
Miss anything?: Not much.
Movement: Yes, he's moving like crazy!
Food cravings: We have been watching Cake Boss on Netflix so all I want is a red velvet cupcake or dozen :)
Have you started to show yet?: Yes, i feel like I'm huge now - hello third trimester.
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Just exhausted
Looking forward to: A weekend at home doing nothing!

26 weeks

Finn photobomb!

How far along?: 26 weeks
Maternity clothes: Still just maternity bottoms with regular shirts. I just started a new job at the Credit Union as AVP Marketing Specialist so I have to dress up which is proving to be harder than I had hoped. I have 3 pairs of maternity dress pants and then I have dresses that I can wear but finding dressy shirts that are long enough is actually hard so I wear a maternity tank under shirts that are just long enough right now but probably won't be in about 3 weeks.
Best moment this week: Definitely starting my new job! I'm so excited to be with such an awesome company with great benefits and I'm a mile from home.
Symptoms: My shin splints are better due to my new Hoka One One sneakers which I am thrilled about. I had a few nights of braxton hicks this week but I'm thinking it was because I've been in training for 3 days and I've been on my feet doing tours at different buildings, meeting a ton of people and I haven't had as much of a chance to drink water the way I do when I'm sitting at a desk. I've been more aware of drinking a lot of water the last two days and I haven't had any more.
Miss anything?: I really wanted to celebrate my new job with a nice glass of wine but I guess pizza and ice cream will do!
Movement: Oh my goodness he's been moving like crazy the past week. I've had to have meetings with operations managers (since I'm upper management) this week and I swear every time I sit down for them he goes crazy and you can actually see him moving and kicking.
Food cravings: Nothing really since I've been so busy this week.
Have you started to show yet?: Yep although my first day at the new job I was wearing all black and the next day I had on a white shirt and a few people came up to me and said they didn't realize I was pregnant the first day so they probably just thought I was chubby haha
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Just exhausted
Looking forward to: A long weekend at home since I now have all government holidays off which is amazing!

24 weeks!

How far along?:
 23 weeks
Maternity clothes: Still just maternity bottoms with regular shirts.
Best moment this week: Well I guess I can come clean now...I accepted a new job this week as Assistant Vice President Marketing Specialist at our local credit union (there are 9 branches and growing!). I did love my job at the newspaper as creative director/graphic designer but with a new baby it just did not pay for additional daycare, plus there were no benefits such as a 401k, all I had was vacation days. I won't miss my crazy commute up the passes/mountains in the winters or my insane deadlines every week but I will desperately miss my colleagues that have become some of my greatest friends here in Vermont.
Symptoms: I'm still only running a max of 3ish miles at a time due to shin splints. There was something else but I can't remember haha Oh I guess exhaustion obviously!
Miss anything?: A good glass of sauvignon blanc. Even while pregnant I have sips or a couple ounces of wine or beer maybe once every other week but white wines and IPA beers have a weird taste to them now which sucks because they're my favorite.
Movement: It's all the time now regardless of if I am sitting or standing and Tom finally felt a couple kicks for the first time the other day. Every other time he's tried to feel kicking the baby stops of course!
Food cravings: Yes, chocolate and ice cream all the time - I'm good and only gave in once though!
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yeah! I feel like I really popped more this week.
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Still exhausted but not quite as moody.
Looking forward to: Starting my new job and relaxing at home this weekend and going to a Super Bowl party tomorrow!

23 weeks

How far along?: 23 weeks
Total weight gain: Like I said last week, I'm not weighing myself anymore. I've been eating really well this week since I want to make sure I'm keeping my weight in check. I've been making really good protein smoothies in the morning and they keep me completely full until lunch and I don't pick as much though out the day too which is something I've always done but gets worse when I'm pregnant. I just put milk, greek yogurt, a scoop of protein powder, kale, frozen blueberries and strawberries and half a banana so I don't even taste the protein and it's wicked good too.
Maternity clothes: Still just maternity bottoms with regular shirts.
Best moment this week: Finn coming up to me, lifting up my shirt, saying baby and kissing my belly without me asking!
Symptoms: Running has been a little more tough this week, I'm just much more tired than normal this week so I've maxed my longest run at 3 miles this week.
Miss anything?: I really wanted an Allagash White beer this week.
Movement: It's pretty constant now but of course whenever I try to have Tom feel it he stops.
Food cravings: Nothing really.
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yeah!
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Still exhausted but not quite as moody.
Looking forward to: Going home this weekend with Finn since Tom has to prep for his first semester of teaching Anatomy and Physiology two nights a week at the local community college.

22 weeks

How far along?: 22 weeks
Total weight gain: 18lbs. I've decided that since my weight has been fine this pregnancy, I'm not going to weigh myself the rest of the pregnancy. I've been living by the scale since Finn was born and knowing I will again to loose the weight, I just want a break from it. I actually think it will make me eat healthier since I can't keep track of it by a number but by how I feel instead. I'll start to weigh myself again around 37 or 38 weeks so I know what my final weight actually is.
Maternity clothes: All maternity bottoms now as I don't want to stretch out my designer jeans even though they fit. I haven't worn any maternity shirts yet other than tanks but I haven't stopped wearing those since my last pregnancy.
Best moment this week: Feeling our little guy start to kick me way more often.
Symptoms: My hips are way more sore after a run and squats are now killer!
Miss anything?: Not much.
Movement: So much more than last week even. Finn fell asleep on me the other day and I could feel him kicking at Finn!
Food cravings: Nothing really.
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yeah!
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Still exhausted but not quite as moody.
Looking forward to: Better runs this week without shin splints since I know how to keep them away. Tom starts teaching in a week so I'm looking forward to our last normal week until craziness ensues!

21 weeks

Photo taken 20w3d
How far along?: 21 weeks
Total weight gain: 17lbs. About 1 more pound than I wanted but the holidays were hard and it still keeps me on track for my max of 35lbs. I'm trying to find a balance between eating super healthy and eating a few treats. My only problem seems to be that even when I have a few treats I gain very easily. I gained very easily with Finn too and honestly didn't just eat what I wanted and I was still conscious about what I ate. I'm just hoping that my workouts and lifting can continue to be strong so I only gain the alb a week.
Maternity clothes: I tried on a pair of LOFT maternity jeans I had gotten from thredup and they actually fit now and don't look like they're maternity which is nice.
Best moment this week: Seeing as it's now Sunday and not the normal Thursday, my favorite moment was going to Boston this weekend with Tom while my mom came to our house to watch Finn. I didn't realize how much we needed a weekend away until we were away. It was nice to reconnect on our own as much as I missed our little man.
Symptoms: Starting to get stupid shin splints when I run again. This is about 7 weeks earlier than with Finn which really concerns me since I don't want to stop running already. If I tuck my hips, lean forward more and almost pull my torso up off my hips as I run then they are almost not there. It's not during every run, just every other but it's still a pain - literally!
Miss anything?: Definitely wanted to take a few tastings when we went to Sam Adams Brewery tour and Harpoon Brewery tour while in Boston. Instead I had some low-fat soft ice cream with reese pieces from Sprinkles - the best ever :)
Movement: Yes! I had only been feel movement and then when we were in Boston I started to feel a few kicks and have felt some today while home too. Feeling movement is awesome, but kicks and jabs are the best!
Food cravings: Nothing really.
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yeah!
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Still exhausted but not quite as moody.
Looking forward to: Friday! And not because it's almost the weekend but because it will mean my Thursday trip to the dentist for fillings will be over. I have always had horrible teeth no matter how much I brush and floss (possibly due to being lactose intolerant as a kid and I have extremely deep crevices in my teeth too) and when I became pregnant with Finn they got even worse. Finally getting the last of my fillings and hoping I don't have anymore for a while.

20 weeks

Chopped off another 3 inches tonight and added some bangs which are currently pinned back!
How far along?: 20 weeks
Total weight gain: I honestly haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks. I ate way too many sweets over the holidays but I've been working out and eating healthy by cutting out added sugars all week and plan to do the same next week so I'll weigh myself next week when I'm a bit more comfortable.
Maternity clothes: My maternity pants are still a bit baggy on me but I have 2 pairs of jeans that  are a size or two big from after Finn was born and I wanted to wear jeans so I've been wearing those. My stretching jeans still fit but I'm afraid of stretching them out and not having them go back to normal post pregnancy.
Best moment this week: Having the day off for New Years and spending it with Tom and Finn just hanging around the house playing with toys, making pizza and watching a movie.
Symptoms: Horrible, horrible round ligament pains. I never had them with Finn really bad until the last two weeks but by then everything hurt anyways. I honestly thought something was wrong they hurt so bad. I asked my colleague if she had that pain with her second and she said it was so much worse with her second and described them how I did so I figured I was in the clear and not going into early labor haha
Miss anything?: I've really been wanting beer lately :)
Movement: Yes!!! Finally! About a week ago I started to feel it when I'm sitting and lean forward a little and now it's definitely more often but still usually when I'm sitting. I forgot how strange it is at first but I can't wait for kicks and punches!
Food cravings: Well since I'm on this no sugar thing of course all I want is ice cream.
Have you started to show yet?: Yes! Finally I feel pregnant and not just chubby!
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Exhausted and moody as usual.
Looking forward to: A weekend away with Tom next weekend! My amazing mom is coming to watch Finn and we are going to head to Burlington for the day/night. It will be our first night away from Finn but Finn loves my mom so I'm honestly not worried about him, I'm worried he'll wear her out with his energy haha

18 weeks

How far along?: 18 weeks
Total weight gain: 11lbs.
Maternity clothes: Not really. Wearing a lot of dresses and skirts lately though.
Best moment this week: We had our anatomy scan on Wednesday and found out we're having a boy! We were gonna wait to open the envelope but wanted to open it just the three of us since my family would be out for Christmas. We're super excited that Finn will have a brother so close in age and I can't wait to watch them grow up together.
Symptoms: I've had to slow down my runs a bit since I not too much pulling and a little soreness when I go fast during sprints. I've made my runs a bit longer to make up for it and it's been fine. I'm running the Maine half marathon in October (4 months postpartum) since I deferred my application last year when I found out I was pregnant and knowing how competitive I am didn't want to run it and push myself too hard when I was so early still. So keeping the miles long but a little slower is probably best.
Miss anything?: Nothing really.
Movement: Still nothing.
Food cravings: Holy sugar crave! Anything and everything sugar.
Have you started to show yet?: Yes, but it's still that awkward stage when people at the gym probably think I'm fat or pregnant but don't want to ask and offend me if I'm not haha
Gender prediction: Little man 2!
Mood: Exhausted and moody as usual.
Looking forward to: Christmas with our families here in Vermont. I can't wait to see how excited Finn will be on Christmas :)

17 weeks

Yes I look like a bum! Technically 17w3d for this picture.

How far along?: 17 weeks
Total weight gain: 10lbs. - last week should have said 9lbs. but it autocorrected to something stupid
Maternity clothes: I was basically wearing the same two stretchy pair of jeans and some leggings everyday so I decided to wear a pair of maternity corduroys since I'm skipping the whole "wearing my pants unbuttoned" this time around. If they don't button then I'm packing them away - it's awkward and uncomfortable and I don't care.
Best moment this week: We had a massive snow storm basically everyday this week and because of it we lost power at work on Thursday. My boss sent us a text after Finn was already at daycare so I stayed home alone did laundry, dishes and cleaned the house - it was veeeery needed! And of course it's always awesome to hear the heartbeat at my midwives since I had my appointment on Wednesday.
Symptoms: My stomach is definitely starting to stretch and get hard to the point where I'm sore. My stomach is already starting to get heavy when I stand for too long as well.
Miss anything?: Not really this week.
Movement: I ate ice cream saturday night and laid around trying to feel something but nothing yet.
Food cravings: For whatever reason I wanted cheese fries a couple of times this week. I'm pretty sure I've had cheese fries maybe once in my life so not sure where the craving even came from.
Have you started to show yet?: Definitely popped again this week, and I can even feel that I'm stretching.
Gender prediction: No clue. I feel like I have no time to think about it this time around. Which makes me feel guilty but I know I'll probably feel this way forever now that I'm a mom.
Mood: Exhausted!
Looking forward to: Going to our anatomy scan on Wednesday :)

Finn caught the stomach bug from a kid at daycare (there's only 4 kids at his home daycare so when one gets something they all do) on Tuesday and spent all night throwing up the poor little guy. He took three baths that night it smelled so bad. I stayed home with him Wednesday after my midwife appointment and he was pretty much fine by noon. He still hasn't eaten much but luckily he's happy!

16 Weeks

How far along?: 16 weeks
Total weight gain: albs. - oh, hello Thanksgiving week. We easily ate out every night we were home and ate crap most of the time soooo...
Maternity clothes: None yet. But today I was wearing non-stretchy jeans and after lunch they were very uncomfortable so no more non-stretchy jeans for me!
Best moment this week: Cutting down our Christmas tree on our way back from NY this weekend. We cut it at the same place every year in Middlebury, VT and Finn thought the trees were the best. Every time he sees it in the living room he gasps like he forgot it was there.
Symptoms: I've been getting nauseous from my fish oil pills lately even when I take them on a full stomach. And very sensitive to smells lately, some have been giving me headaches.
Miss anything?: Really wanting to eat ice cream every night but hoping that by not it will continue to keep me on track to only gain 30-35lbs.
Movement: Hopefully really soon!
Food cravings: Oh ya know just ice cream.
Have you started to show yet?: Yeah but the general public probably just thinks I'm chubby. Especially the people I see at the gym everyday, they must think I'm really indulging in holiday goods.
Gender prediction: I want to say girl but Tom thinks boy so he has me second guessing myself since I haven't had that true gut feeling. I got the gut feeling like right before we found out with Finn so I think the same will happen this time too.
Mood: Still slightly crazy haha
Looking forward to: Seeing our babe on Dec.17 and finding out the gender when we open our card Christmas morning :)

Monday, December 1, 2014

15 weeks

)
Sorry for the crappy picture - it was taken post Thanksgiving drinking (photographer not me!)

far along?: 15 weeks
Total weight gain: 7lbs.
Maternity clothes: None yet.
Best moment this week: Having a weekend at home and not having to travel!
Symptoms: I feel much more exhausted - like whole body exhausted though.
Miss anything?: Eh not really.
Movement: Nothing yet but hopefully very soon!
Food cravings: Nothing really but I have definitely become more hungry than normal.
Have you started to show yet?: Um, woke up this morning (Thanksgiving) and even Tom noticed I had popped!
Gender prediction: All of the online questionnaires and Chinese calendar things tell me it's a girl - we shall see Dec. 17!
Mood: Ugh, still all over the place.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender at our anatomy scan on Dec. 17 of course. But I am also excited to spend Thanksgiving with my family and hang out with friends and family all weekend :)

14 Weeks

A little bigger :)

How far along?: 14 weeks
Total weight gain: 6lbs. - definitely had a growth spurt this week with lots of tugging and growing pains!
Maternity clothes: None yet.
Best moment this week: Going to Boston with my mom and Finn to visit my cousin and her family. Oh, and chopping another 4inches off my hair - hard to tell in this picture but love it when it's straight!
Symptoms: Lots of growing pains this week especially in my lower abs. I was running the other day and had to stop since my stomach muscles were so sore.
Miss anything?: I've really been wanting a good glass of Sauvignon Blanc lately.
Movement: Nothing yet but hopefully in a couple weeks I will.
Food cravings: Nothing in general this week. I gave in to my ice cream craving while in Boston though and had some soft serve vanilla at Sprinkles in Quincy Market - the best!
Have you started to show yet?: Definitely more than last week and a lot more in the last two days - even I noticed it, especially in my waist. I still feel I just look like I've been skipping the gym so I can't wait to actually pop!
Gender prediction: Erica at work thinks it's a girl and I'm slightly leaning that way now because of my face continuing to break out and wanting sweets and being extra moody this time - none of which was true with Finn. Although I did have a dream last night that it was a boy so who knows!
Mood: I should let Tom answer this question haha My mood was very up and down this week still, I really hope it doesn't stay this way the whole pregnancy.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender at our anatomy scan on Dec. 17! Although we are going to have the tech write it on a piece of paper and open it on Christmas so we can open it as a family and find out :) So Tom gets a slight surprise still since he didn't want to find out but I pull rank on that one seeing as I'm the one doing the natural birth!

Weeks 9-12 :)

How far along?: 9 weeks
Total weight gain: 2lbs. So lets be honest for a minute, I probably gained close to 50lbs with Finn. I also started off at about 138 since I was coming off a miscarriage 2 months prior and working out maybe once or twice a week. Right now I'm working out 4 times a week, and eating much better. I was sitting at 128-130 when I was nursing finn through the night still but once that stopped in August I was consistently at 133 so that's my starting weight this time and I'm in the best shape ever. The most I have ever lifted in the past was 7.5lbs dumbells and now I lift 12.5lbs. If I hadn't gotten pregnant I'd be up to 15lbs but I want to take it easy and not push too hard, especially in the first trimester. So there's me being honest.
Maternity clothes: None yet. Everything fits exactly the same thankfully, nothing even feels snug yet.
Sleep: I feel like this shouldn't even be a topic now that I have a one year old. Some nights he sleeps, some nights he doesn't. Sleep basically depends on Finn at the moment.
Best moment this week: I taught Finn to kiss my belly! He has no ide why but I think it's cute :)
Symptoms: I realize I'm a lucky one who never really has anything to complain about in this department. No sickness or neausia. I don't feel like I'm as tired as I was with Finn but my perception of tired has shifted drastically! My only complaint is that I have acne like a 13 year old boy. My face cleared up so well with Finn and with nursing so it may just be because we only nurse once or twice a day now but I am so not happy about this.
Miss anything?: I just want a beer - preferably an IPA!
Movement: Nothing yet but hoping to start to feel it earlier since it's the second time around.
Food cravings: I've had a craving for salty foods a couple of times but nothing other than that.
Have you started to show yet?: Nope. I think being in better shape has allowed me to not pop as quickly.  I'm just waiting to wake up one morning and it be there since this is number 2 it's more likely to get bigger quicker.
Gender prediction: My only reason for thinking it's a girl is because of my face breaking out and the old wives tale that girls steal your beauty haha
Mood: I've noticed my patience are running quickly. I've had to stop myself from getting frustrated wit Finn a few times recently which is so not normal.
Looking forward to: Hearing the heartbeat at the midwives in 4 weeks :)

How far along?: 10 weeks
Total weight gain: 2lbs. still
Maternity clothes: None yet and I don't think I'll have to anytime soon either. Although I do have a wicked cute pair of gap maternity greyish purple pants that I've word a few times but only because I love the color and don't have anything in my normal pants that color! I bought 3 pairs of maternity pants from ThredUp that I am dying to wear since they are so cute but I'm holding out since I don't want to get bored with them since I'll be living in them this winter.
Best moment this week: Having a relaxing weekend at home with nothing to do!
Symptoms: A little more tired than normal and definitely some hormonal crazy moments but other than that nothing much.
Miss anything?: Still just want an IPA!
Movement: Nothing yet but hoping to start to feel it earlier since it's the second time around.
Food cravings: Just more hungry than normal this week. I really expected to put on some pounds this week with how much I've been eating but this baby must be growing and going to the gym has helped!
Have you started to show yet?: Not yet, although I've begun to pop a little after eating lunch and dinner.
Gender prediction: Now I'm not sure, I haven't had any gut instincts this week and I feel on the fence right now.
Mood: Again, a few hormonal crazy moments!
Looking forward to: Hearing the heartbeat at the midwives in 3 weeks :)

We were in NYC this week so you get a picture of 15 month old Finn instead :)
How far along?: 11 weeks
Total weight gain: 2lbs. still
Maternity clothes: None yet. Thankfully my pants all fit the same and aren't even snug yet.
Best moment this week: My parents coming to visit. Finn loves my mom and has finally warmed up to my dad so its great to see a relationship even though we live far away.
Symptoms: I definitely get short of breath much easier. I forgot how much of an impact that has on my running and how much I have to slow down.
Miss anything?: Not much actually.
Movement: Nothing yet but hoping to start to feel it earlier since it's the second time around.
Food cravings: Can't wait to go to NYC and have lots of yummy foods and not feel the least bit guilty :)
Have you started to show yet?: Not really. I can still suck it in enough so no one at work notices but by night time theres definitely something there!
Gender prediction: Now I'm not sure, I haven't had any gut instincts this week and I feel on the fence right now.
Mood: Still a little hormonal thats for sure!
Looking forward to: Hearing the heartbeat at the midwives in 3 weeks :)

How far along?: 12 weeks
Total weight gain: 3lbs. - visiting NYC for 4 days and eating lots of food was totally worth it!
Maternity clothes: None yet.
Best moment this week: Traveling to NYC for Tom to run in the NYC Marathon. We were able to visit with one of my best friends Charissa and eat a lot of realllly good food.
Symptoms: I've been sick for almost a week now so my congestion and sore throat have trumped any other pregnancy symptoms I may have had.
Miss anything?: Was definitely missing some good wine when we were in NYC.
Movement: Nothing yet but hoping to start to feel it earlier since it's the second time around.
Food cravings: All I wanted in NYC was a doughnut - which I had...twice :)
Have you started to show yet?: A little bit but it may just be a food baby/bloat from all the goodies this pat weekend.
Gender prediction: Leaning towards a girl again since my face looks horrible and I've even cut a lot of sugar from my diet and with Finn my face completely cleared up.
Mood: Still a little hormonal and my patience have not come back yet either!
Looking forward to: Hearing the heartbeat at our midwife appointment next week!
