Wedding Invitations

Although I have my degree in Communications and Design my true love for design and specifically invitation design started when I created my own wedding invitations. I started to look for invitations but couldn't find exactly what we had wanted so I decided to design them [ I had already designed our save the dates so I figured why not ]. 

I received such a good response from friends and family asking me where they were from so I figured why not start designing on the side too. At the time I was only working part time as a graphic designer for a health care company so this was perfect. I ended up designing everything for our wedding from table numbers/names to escort cards to the labels on the beer and wine we gave as favors and everything in between! I've already shared my wedding invitations in another post, so here are some other wedding invitations I've designed recently. Enjoy!

Baby Announcements and Shower Invitations!

I thought I would share a few more of my designs from my freelance design business, Shannon Reilly Creative Design. Since there are a lot of pregnant mamas out there I figured I'd share some birth announcement and baby shower invites I've worked on. And sorry in advance for the cruddy photography - the samples came in the mail and I wanted to take the pictures right away but at 8pm the natural light kind of sucked! Enjoy!

Shannon Reilly Creative Design

Some of you may or may not know that I am a graphic designer and I also have my own freelance business on the side. I mainly focus on wedding invitations, shower invitations, birth announcements and some logo design. I don't take on too many projects since I work full-time but I have definitely grown in the last year. I love invitation design since it is so specific to each client and their wants and needs. Everyone should have wedding invitations that show who they are and give a sense of what the wedding day will feel like. 

My first design was my own wedding invitations and they are honestly what made me want to start a freelance invitation business. I thought I'd give you a glance at some of my first designs! I just printed out a ton more samples of some of my most recent work which I'll post sometime next week. Enjoy :) [
